Maestro: The Team Performance Game
Teams are a critical component to an organization's success. Maestro" is a team building game for employee and management development training. The experiential learning activities improve teamwork, team performance, team leadership and problem solving skills.
Uses for the game:
"Maestro" is the perfect kick-off for your team building initiative, team energizer or stand-alone learning event. It is also a particularly useful tool for leadership, communication and creative problem-solving training.
How it works:
"Maestro" simulates an unstructured problem that enables participants to experience a problem and solution from the inside, just as they would in the real world.
Rehearsing to audition for the top honor of playing at Carnegie Hall, teams are presented with a song they must practice then perform in front of a panel of judges.
Their first challenge is to decide, as a team, who should lead them as maestro. Then they practice together as an ensemble.
The problem is they don't know the name of the song they must perform — and they must play it using only hand bells. Worse yet, teams don't gain access to the instruments until it's time to audition!
The activity draws to a close when teams perform and a winner is chosen based on points earned for: quality of leadership, quality of performance and song recognition.
What to order:
Each complete game includes materials to train up to four groups consisting of four to eight participants at one time. All parts are reusable.
